Mobile Application
Our mobile app collects minimal information to provide the streak tracking service:
- Social Media Username: Your X (Twitter) and/or Threads username to track your posting activity. We only store the username, not your password or login credentials.
- Posting Dates: The dates on which you made posts on connected platforms, used to calculate your streak.
- Notification Preferences: Your reminder notification settings (enabled/disabled, preferred time).
Website (Waitlist)
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address to notify you about our app launch and important updates.
How We Collect Information
- Public Profile Data: We access publicly available information from X (Twitter) and Threads to track your posting activity. This is done through web scraping of public profiles using the username you provide.
- X (Twitter) Login: For X tracking, you may optionally log in through an in-app browser to access your posting history. We do not store your X login credentials; the session is managed locally on your device.
Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device. We use your device's local storage (SharedPreferences) to save:
- Connected platform usernames
- Posting history dates
- Streak statistics
- Notification preferences
This means your data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers (except for the waitlist email which is stored in our database).
How We Use Your Information
- To track and display your posting streaks on X and Threads
- To send you daily reminder notifications (if enabled)
- To send launch updates and important announcements (waitlist subscribers)
- To improve our app and services
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.Your data remains on your device and is not transmitted to external servers, except:
- Waitlist emails are stored securely in our database for communication purposes only
- We may access public posts from X and Threads platforms to check your posting activity
Push Notifications
Our app offers optional daily reminder notifications to help you maintain your posting streak. You can enable or disable notifications and customize the reminder time in the app settings. Notification preferences are stored locally on your device.
Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Delete: You can view and delete all your data at any time using the "Reset Data" option in the app settings.
- Disconnect Platforms: You can remove connected social media accounts at any time.
- Notifications: You can enable or disable reminder notifications in the app settings.
- Unsubscribe: You can unsubscribe from our waitlist emails at any time by contacting us.
Data Security
Since all app data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security features. We recommend keeping your device secure with a passcode or biometric authentication.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
